Update on Aquatics Class Schedule
Hello Valued Kroc Members,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding our Group Exercise and Aquatics programming. We truly value your input and want you to know that it directly informs how we plan and adjust our schedules.
As we look ahead to our summer season, our goal is to continue offering inclusive, accessible programming while also balancing the needs of all members and programs across the facility. To support this, a few class adjustments will be in place for an 8-week period beginning in June.
Upcoming Adjustments:
Arthritis Foundation Class: Moving to the Recreation Pool at 8:00 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
This change reflects feedback from members requesting a return to a slightly cooler pool during the summer months. The Recreation Pool also allows us to increase class capacity (up to 24 participants, compared to 15 in the Therapy Pool).Adult Water Workout: Moving to 7:00 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays.
Because the Arthritis Foundation class is shifting outdoors for the summer, an earlier time slot was necessary to help balance overall pool availability. During this season, our Aquatics team supports more than 400 day campers daily for lessons and recreational activities between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., which significantly impacts pool access throughout the day.
We understand that schedule changes can affect routines, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to create space for all of our user groups during this busy season.
Registration Reminder:
All 7:00 a.m. classes will open for registration on KrocConnect at 6:00 a.m., as part of our standard process to support consistency and accessibility.
We remain committed to listening and learning from our members. In the coming months, we will also be exploring additional ways to gather input and involve members in shaping future programming.
Thank you for your continued support of the Kroc Center. It is a privilege to serve this community, and we are grateful for your partnership in helping us create a welcoming and accessible environment for everyone.
