Nonperishable Donation Guidelines

Thank you for supporting our community! Your donations help individuals and families access essential food and hygiene supplies during difficult times. Please review the guidelines below before making your donation.

You can drop off nonperishable donations at our Gym front desk, or with any Guest Services Associate in any venue. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, you can donate online and in the Leave a Comment box indicate if you have a preference (example: hygiene items.)

Accepted Food Donations

We gladly accept all new, unopened, nonperishable food items.

Examples include:

Canned vegetables, fruits, and soups
Canned meats and fish
Pasta, rice, and dry beans
Cereal and oatmeal
Peanut butter and nut butters
Shelf-stable milk and juice
Boxed meals and dinner kits
Cooking oils and condiments

Important Requirements

All food items must be new and unopened
Items must be nonperishable (shelf-stable)
Please check expiration dates — we cannot accept expired food
Packaging must be intact and undamaged

Hygiene and cleaning product needs

The Salvation Army Kroc Family Resource Center provides hygiene kits monthly to our Family Clients. The average family size is four people, and the hope is that the kit will last all month. All items are donated. Below is a list of recommended items to donate:

Hand soap
Paper towels

Hand sanitizer

Q tips/Cotton balls/cotton pads
Antibacterial wipes
Body wash
Toothpaste/Toothbrush
Lotion
Shampoo
Conditioner

We gratefully accept:

Adult diapers and incontinence products
These essential items are always in high demand and greatly appreciated.

Items We Cannot Accept: To ensure safety and efficiency, we cannot accept:

Expired food
Opened or partially used items
Perishable foods
Travel-sized hygiene products

Household items of any kind
