Ignite your child's curiosity as they dive into the captivating realms of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Our carefully crafted programs provide a dynamic and hands-on environment where young minds can thrive. From building and programming robots that conquer challenges, to experimenting with mind-boggling scientific phenomena, your child will be immersed in a rich tapestry of learning and fun. Our expert instructors are dedicated to nurturing a passion for discovery while fostering essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. Join us at the Kroc Center's afterschool STEAM programs, where education evolves into an exciting adventure, and your child's potential knows no bounds.

The Kroc Center STEAM Afterschool Enrichment programs for kids are fun, interactive, and affordable! Our experienced teachers guide kids ages 6 to 14 through hands-on experiments and activities that teach the scientific method and encourage their curiosity. Kids in our classes develop social skills spending time with new people and asking questions about the new concepts they explore.

LEGO STEAM

Wednesdays / 4:00 - 5:30 pm.

Build, experiment, and imagine at LEGO STEAM. Perfect for kids who love to create, this Afterschool Enrichment program combines the creativity of LEGO building with the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). Not only will we get the opportunity to build our own LEGO Robotics, we will also be doing experiments and projects combined with the fun of LEGO.

Edible Science

Thursdays / 4:00 - 5:30 pm.

Grab a beaker, pick up your whisk, and get ready to cook up some delicious science. Using food as our tools (or ingredients) curious kids become saucy scientists that measure, weigh, combine, and craft their way through the kitchen. Participants will learn about various sciences from chemistry, biology, geology, and more.
