“Try It” Beginning Skate classes are available on Saturdays from 11:15am-12pm.

Register online before arriving at the ice arena.

Arrive by 11am to check in and pick up rental skates.

Cost: Just $25

Perfect for first-time skaters, our "Try It" Beginning Skate class offers a fun, drop-in opportunity to experience the joy of ice skating and discover all the fantastic programs Kroc Center Ice has to offer.

Classes fill quickly - be sure to register online in advance!

Skaters aged 3-5 must have a paid participating parent in class.

What you'll learn:

Ice safety & skate care
Getting comfy walking in skates before taking to the ice
Stepping onto the ice for the very first time, how to fall & get up safely
Forward skating skills and stopping skills
Our friendly Skating Academy staff will be there every step (and glide) of the way to help you out!

Loved your first class? We bet you will! Join our Skating Academy to keep the momentum going and master your skills in figure skating or hockey.

Ages 3 - Adults welcome. Wear “knee high” thin socks/nylons and dress in layers for warmth. Gloves are available for purchase. Helmets are recommended.
