Kroc Updates & Covid-19 Safety Information

Your Safety is Our Priority.

The Kroc Center will be following all local & state guidelines as it comes to the COVID-19 virus. Below are some of the steps we are taking within our facility to help keep our members, guests and staff safe.

Kroc Center Safety Pledge

The Kroc Center is excited to welcome all our members back to our community center! Though always in our hearts, we couldn’t be happier to finally see you! Our spirits were lifted by the generosity of our members and the sense of community that prevailed during this difficult time for all. That same sense of community is crucial to safely carrying us through this next Phase and ensuring our doors will remain open.

The Kroc Center’s Pledge to our members:

Follow all Federal, State & County mandates
Maintain 6’ of physical distance Ensure associates wear masks in all common areas
Ensure associates monitor their health & remain home if ill or have been in contact with someone who is*
Ensure all equipment is cleaned after use
Engage with our members through frequently through multiple channels, including virtual classes, online live chat tools, and text messages, emails and social media
Open venues and activity areas for use safely and in consideration of feasible distancing
Closely monitor all activity areas and address safety and sanitation concerns immediately
Maintain and document ongoing cleaning, as well as facility-wide deep cleaning twice daily
Communicate often regarding hours, program opportunities and participation parameters
Serve our community through ongoing support offered in the Family Resource Center
Meet the spiritual needs of our community through prayer and virtual fellowship

Members Pledge:

Complete daily pre-check prior to entry & utilize touch-free (key fob) entry at Guest Services
Maintain 6’ of physical distance
Monitor your health and remain home if ill or have been in contact with someone who is
Respect scheduled time slot
Wipe down equipment after use
Wash hands with soap & water regularly
Report any safety or sanitation concerns to Kroc Center staff
Limit belongings brought into the facility to those that can be kept in a small pouch / belt (traditional lockers and small wallet lockers current unavailable).
Decrease contact of communal surfaces by bringing own towel, water bottle and exercise mat

Safety Guidelines

For the health and safety of all, the Kroc Center follows California Department of Public Health guidance. We strongly encourage
everyone to wear a face covering while inside the venue, whether you’ve been vaccinated or not.

The Kroc Center cares deeply for our entire community and urges all users to act with the health, safety and well-being of one another in mind at all times.
