Tax Assistance

Volunteer Tax Preparation Services in San Diego

Are you ready to tackle tax season with confidence? This year, mark your calendars for a unique opportunity to get your taxes prepared by dedicated volunteers. From February 2 to April 12, 2024, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (with the exception of March 29), volunteers will be on hand to assist you with your tax preparation needs. The service is available at 6605 University Ave., San Diego, CA 92115, Building F, Bandroom.

Dates and Times:
February 2 – April 12, 2024
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays
No tax prep on March 29

Volunteers arrive at 8:30 am

What to Bring:
When you arrive for tax preparation, make sure to bring the following documents with you:

Photo ID
Social Security Card
Any W2, 1099, 1095, or other tax documents
Bank Account Information for direct deposit
Any IRS letters, including records of stimulus payments and Advanced Child Care Tax Credit

Important Information:
Tax preparation is available for same-day sign-ups only, and slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
No phone-ahead appointments are accepted, so make sure to arrive early to secure your spot.
