Leap Into New Spring Dance Sessions

Feb 8, 2021 | by Belinda Mendoza

At the Kroc Center, we believe in nurturing all members of our community in various ways. However, one of the ways we focus on providing a place for our community is through creative and engaging programs for children. Things may look a little different, but that doesn’t mean your child can’t continue to do the things they love. One of the programs we’ve been able to safely adapt during this current climate is our dance programs.

While navigating through the pandemic we wanted to cultivate the same welcoming and safe environment we’ve always prided ourselves in, but with extra precautions in light of COVID-19 health and safety measures. In order to keep our dance program safe and running, we have transitioned to an outdoor area with ample space for social distancing.

Enrolling your child in a dance class means being able to watch them develop coordination, rhythm, persistence, and more, all while creatively expressing themselves through movement. Some of our course offerings for 4+ children include: Ballet, Hip Hop, Beginning Broadway, and Rhythmic Gymnastics. We also offer parent and child dance classes for children as young as 3 years old. If your child is over the age of 14, consider enrolling in Adult Ballet/Modern Dance where movement and energy is more important than technique.

Classes consist of 8 weekly sessions that can be bought individually or all at once, giving you the freedom to try out a class before committing.

Keep an eye on our Kroc Sales site, new spring Dance sessions go on sale February 13 at midnight!
